From our PTA President

August 2024

Dear Will Rogers Learning Community Families,

On behalf of the Will Rogers PTA, I am thrilled to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year! Whether you're a returning family or new to our school, we're excited to have you as part of our vibrant and supportive community.

The PTA is dedicated to enriching our students' educational experiences by organizing fun events, providing resources for our classrooms, and fostering a strong sense of community among our families. This year, we have a variety of exciting activities planned, including our welcome back picnic, family dances, movie nights, and fundraisers that directly benefit our students.

I also want to encourage you to become a PTA member or renew your membership if you haven't done so already. Your membership is crucial in supporting the programs and activities that make Will Rogers a great place for our children. Joining the PTA is easy, and it’s a wonderful way to get involved in your child's education and stay connected with our school community. You can sign up or renew your membership through our PTA website or by returning the membership envelope in this package.

In addition to joining the PTA, we warmly invite you to attend our PTA meetings, where you can stay informed about what’s happening at school and connect with other parents, teachers, and staff. Our meetings are a great opportunity to learn more about upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and other ways to get involved. The meeting schedule will be available on our website and shared in our calendar.

Please stay connected with us by visiting our PTA website, following us on social media, and reading our newsletters. These channels will keep you informed about upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and other ways to get involved.

Thank you for your continued support. Together, we can make this school year a rewarding and memorable one for our children.

Warm regards,
Ana Evangelista
President, Will Rogers Learning Community PTA
