Dear Will Rogers Learning Community Families,
Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Will Rogers! I’m Evan, your new PTA President, and I’m so excited to kick off another year of learning, laughter, and community. Whether you’re brand new to our school or a familiar face, we’re thrilled to have you as part of the Will Rogers family.
The PTA is at the heart of so much that makes our school special. We host movie nights under the stars, throw family dances, celebrate Cinco de Mayo, support our amazing regenerative farm, and bring countless other events and programs to life. These moments aren’t just fun — they create connections, memories, and opportunities that shape our children’s elementary school experience.
Here’s the thing: the PTA is powered entirely by parents, caregivers, and community members like you. There are all kinds of ways to get involved — from leading an event to helping out for just an hour — and every role makes a difference. Your time, energy, and ideas directly enrich the lives of our students.
Joining the PTA is quick and easy, and your membership fuels the programs, resources, and events that keep our school vibrant. We’d also love to see you at our PTA meetings — we provide childcare, dinner, and they’re an amazing chance to stay in the loop, share your voice, and meet other incredible families.
Let’s make 2025–2026 a year to remember. Together, we can create an even stronger, more connected Will Rogers community — and have a ton of fun along the way.

Become a Member
PTA is the largest child advocacy organization in the nation. Becoming a member of the Will Rogers PTA entitles you to member benefits from California State PTA and National PTA. Membership allows you to make motions and vote at meetings, and to make a difference in your child's school experience! Membership is $11 per person, and needs to be renewed annually. Volunteer
There are many ways to get involved, from joining a planning committee to signing up to help at an event.

What We Do
Our mission is to positively impact the lives of all children and families. At Will Rogers Learning Community, our PTA has a big impact on the school experience for our students. We provide school administration with valuable input about a variety of things happening at school, we supply classroom volunteers and teacher grants, run community-building family events, advocate for children locally and statewide, ensure frequent communication and cooperation between school and home, we work to raise funds to support our PTA goals as well as provide additional support for things that improve the school day for students.
Who We Are
Our PTA is a volunteer organization made up of parents, family members, teachers, staff and community members just like you who want to make a positive impact in the lives of students. We hope you will join our association! Our PTA executive board members are elected to coordinate the work of officers and committees of the association in order that the objectives may be promoted.
